Do all the straps fit to any watch?

The band width of men's watches is 20mm - even those of earlier models that we no longer carry. The width of most straps is 20mm, so most watches are compatible with most straps.

Ladies models like the Naos XS or earlier models like the Junis 34 or Sinja have a narrower strap lug of 16mm and are compatible with the interchangeable straps in the ,Classic 16' section. The Milanaise 16 straps are also compatible with the Naos XS and Sinja, but not with the earlier Junis 34 model, as the Milanaise strap has since been modified. For the Junis 34, we recommend a leather strap ,Klassik 16'.

There is also one exception.

This is the combination of the metal strap and the Naos automatic (and the automatic model of the first generation).

Theoretically, you can combine the case of the Naos Automatic with the metal strap. However, the case of the Naos Automatic is made of shiny metal, while the strap is made of matte metal, and unfortunately, it has recently become apparent that the watch case of the Naos Automatic is not a perfect match for the metal strap. It does have the same strap lug, but on some examples the strap rubs against the case because it is by design meant for our 'Zirkel' and 'Topograph' models, as well as the quartz 'Naos Basalt' model. This is also the reason why we do not offer this combo on our website.

In general, when choosing a new strap, we recommend paying attention to the look of the metal on the band. For example, the black milanaise band with DLC coating will visually match models with a black case, but not so perfectly with models that have a black dial but a silver case.

The silver stainless steel milanaise band is suitable for both watches that are made of matte metal and watches that are made of shiny metal.

With many bands, you can also choose whether the buckle on the band should be made of polished or brushed metal, depending on the metal type of your watch case.
