The color of my vintage strap is different than expected.

Our leather straps come from a German factory in the Bavarian forest, and the straps are not dyed, but tanned through. Unfortunately, since there are complex chemical processes involved in a tanning process, the exact color result is not always entirely predictable, which is why the color can vary depending on the batch.

After a while, however, your leather straps darken quite a bit and get a nice patina. To speed up this process, you can use a little bit of leather care oil. Then the strap will be much darker.
