How can I set the date on my watch?

You can set the date on the second position of the crown by turning it down.

A day has 24 hours, but a watch has only twelve. So to make sure that the date changes properly at 12 o'clock at night, and not at 12 o'clock at noon, you can follow the steps below.

As a note, while the date disc jumps from one number to the next in a jerky fashion when you manually adjust it, the (daily) switching process in the movement takes longer. It takes place between 9 and 16 o'clock and between 9 and 4 o'clock.  We therefore advise against adjusting the date during this period, as it could damage the date disc.

Accordingly, it is best to set the date between 4 and 9 o'clock in the morning, or between 4 and 8 o'clock in the evening.

We recommend setting the date to yesterday's day. Once this is done, turn the time forward until the date display jumps to today's date (for the clock it is 0 o'clock or midnight). If it is still before 12 noon, you simply set the clock to the desired time. If it is already after noon, the hour hand must pass 12 o'clock again, so that the clock knows that it will change correctly the next night.
