The maximum power reserve for our movements is approx. 40 hours. However, this can only be achieved if the watch has been moved for a longer period of time during the day and night. Without a watch winder, however, this is hardly possible.
If you start the watch by winding it up, wear it during the day and take it off again in the evening, the power reserve will last a good day, according to our experience.
In general, it is recommended to manually wind automatic watches, whose mainspring is wound by the movement of the balance, from time to time, in order to keep the power reserve stable and the mainspring taut even with less movement. If you wear the watch every day, it is sufficient to turn the crown about 10 times every 1-2 weeks.
