My automatic makes noises. Is this normal?

That an automatic watch makes noises is not unusual, because in some mechanical movements, these noises are even necessary. The reason for this is bearing play. There must be a small "air space" between the individual components. Without this, the parts cannot move freely and regularly. Because of these free spaces, the rotor can be heard clearly during certain movements. So you don't have to worry that something might be wrong with your timepiece.
